Or His degree...

Some places may be different , but here there are no limitations nor differences in clinical practice.  If you start thinking about getting into education or management positions and the like, the BSN is typically a must.

ASN and BSN nurse can do exactly the same thing. We all take same NCLEX. In most hospitals the pay difference is not even much, maybe a couple cents, or no difference at all. If you intend to go into management the BSN is a stepping stone.

Honestly the only difference, at least I think, is money!

I live in Southwest VA and there is No difference in this area as to what a associate and a BSN nurse can do except when it comes to teaching... and there is NOOOOO difference in the pay, the hospitals here do not even consider the BSN to be an important qualification for a management position, they feel the experience is more important than the degree and since I do not plan on moving I feel like I wasted $39000.00 on my education when I could have received the associates degree throught the community college for free..

I know here in FL they can do the same and pay difference upon hiring is about 13 cents difference for the same job, but as previously stated most management positions require BSN or if you're wanting to move up to your masters you would need your BSN as well.
