| Posted almost 3 years ago NEVER, EVER say to a doctor "I don't know". This is deadly to your credibility and power as a professional. Instead say: "Let me check that for you" or "I will find out if....". Remember that there are docs and others out there who make House look like Mother Teresa. YOU do not want to be an easy target. If they think that you are 'absolutely on top of it' then they will relax and you will not have as much grief and aggravation. This is the advice that I give to all new students and newly licensed nurses. |
