A jewish man from Russia is granted permission to immigrate to Israel.

At the border, the customs check him and they find Lenin's statue.

-What is this?

-You shoud ask who is this? not what is this?, says the jewish man, because this is the statue of Lenin, the one who did so much for Russia, put the base of socialism and brought so much prosperity to all of us. I took him with me so I can remember all the good time. 

 They let him pass. He arrives in Tel Aviv and the customs are finding the statue again.

-What is this?

--You shoud ask who is this? not what is this?, says the jewish man, because this is the statue of Lenin, the idiot that put the base for socialism, the one that brought poverty to all people and the reason for me to leave Russia. I took the statue so I can look at it and curse him every day.

They let him pass. He reaches home and sits the statue on a shelf. At a welcome party given in his honor, his nephew sees the statue and asks:

-Who is this?

-You should ask what is this? and not who is this?, because this is 25 lbs of pure gold.
