Well, I joined a few weeks ago when I was waiting for my NCLEX-RN test results. It brought a lot of comfort to see that others were going through the same thing.

I got the results two days after I took the test. To my utter shock, I passed. I had two weeks off before I started my new job. Tomorrow I begin my orientation classes. I will be on the floor next week. A little nervous, very excited.

I've always wanted to be a nurse and I can't believe that I actually am. I love my fellow nurses and the special sense of humor it takes to do the work that they do.

I hope to work in the Burn Unit of the Hospital that I am at and continue to grow as a nurse and provide the best care.
