| Posted over 3 years ago Psych is my favorite field. I havent had the rotation yet, but have worked in a couple of prisons and psych issues are the majority. One of the prisoners that I took care of in theMax security house thought that he was a super hero. He always had a towel around his head that looked like a turbon and used the sheet as a cape. It was a very intersting job!! |

| Posted over 3 years ago I found the field to be rather sad most of the time - in general. Not a lot of wellness after treatment, just a better version of illness. I'm talking about the mentally ill and not people with depressive or anxiety disorders, though.

| Posted over 3 years ago It is sad that lots of mentally ill do not get the follow treatment that they need. Its never dull working the psych units. |
