Greek Turkey Burgers
1 pound ground turkey breast
1 large egg white, beaten
1/2 cup crumbled red-fat feta cheese
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
1/4 cup chopped seeded pepperoncini pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
4 teaspoons prepared mustard
4 light wheat hamburger buns toasted
4 slices red onion
4 slices tomato
4 green leaf lettuce leaves
Place first 8 ingredients in a large bowl, and combine gently with hands just until blended. Divide turkey mixture into 4 equal portions, shaping each into a 1/2-inch-thick patty.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Place patties in pan, and cook 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until done.
Spread 1 teaspoon mustard on bottom half of each bun and top with 1 onion slice,1 tomato slice lettuce leaf and top half of bun.
