Sunday is my day of rest. I sure am not going to spend it in church praying to a god I do not believe in. I have more important things to do and places to go. |

Science is not a religion. I will agree that the Germans experimented on humans in the "name of science". But it really wasn't science they were doing it for. It was pseudoscience. |

And the government that gave it's imprimatur to those experiments was NOT an atheistic government.... do not forget the present pope was a member of der Hitler Jugend. Not to mention even the Waffen SS had chaplains.

| Posted over 3 years ago In the name of the religion science, Charles Darwin wrote a book. In an attempt to find the missing link, by many scientists, aborigines were murdered, and their skeletal remains were put on display to prove this 'scientific theory'. Crazy comes in all shades including the religion of 'science'. |

| Posted over 3 years ago The religion of science is only correct 'today'. Tomorrow something new will come out, and prove todays knowledge obsolete. History is full of scientific re-do's. Medicine is the perfect example of how the religion of 'science' becomes obsolete on a daily basis. Things we did yesteryear, often prove to be detrimental to the patient. The treatment that was based on 'science' turns out to have been killing patients. The religion of science, continually re-invents itself. Only todays knowledge, will be wrong tomorrow. |

| Posted over 3 years ago There's a big difference between believing in a personal "God" who watches over and judges us (No, I don't believe that), and "God" as in a creative entity responsible for creation and ordering of the universe (I do believe there is SOMETHING). |

What you mean is what we consider best practice today will change.... scientific LAW.. Newtonian and possibly Einstienian physics, Laws of chemical interactions, calculus, geometry etc.. will not change....
|
|
Anonymous back to top |
| Posted over 3 years ago Scientific 'laws' have been changed when they were disproved. History is littered with those 'laws'. |

| Posted over 3 years ago Math is a PURE science.... 1 plus 1 equals 2... etc etc etc...... anything that can be modeled by MATH is a LAW... gravitational acceleration... etc etc.. there are laws in math that cannot be changed.. they are pure truth... |

| Posted over 3 years ago Mathematics is commonly defined as the study of patterns of structure, change, and space; more informally, one might say it is the study of "figures and numbers". Mathematical knowledge is constantly growing, through research and application, but mathematics itself is not usually considered a natural science. One reason is that mathematical knowledge is revised and updated in a different way; though arguably founded on experiment in some manner, it is not comparable to the natural sciences in this respect. http://www.wordiq.com/definition/Mathematics Hmm please show me a definition that math and science are one and the same. I think you need to get the money back on your education if that's what you were told. So is your God, Math or Science? |

| Posted over 3 years ago It's alright for someone to not believe. Just keep the sonofabitch out of my foxhole when the lead starts flying. |

| Posted over 3 years ago I am just wondering how many god believers were killed in their foxholes? Believing in god does not keep you alive. |

True, so true. What is there to argue about in the belief in God. Either you do, or you don't. If you do, that is fine, if you don't, that is fine also. Just do not try to change people. Let them believe or not believe without interference. |

I believe that would be: "...you're still retarded..." but I still don't get the comparison. If arguing were like S.O., we'd all get medals. |

I second the motion... In addition keep your belief in god OUT of politics on issues like abortion, stem cell research etc. And keep them OUT of schools on issues like evolution...

| Posted over 3 years ago Keeping GOD out of everything is why people and our schools are so corrupt. If you go back in history, this is why people wanted out of England and to have freedom of religion, they strayed and things were going horribly. People cannot make good decisions without GOD!!!! Each is entitled to have their own opinions but the ones that try to THRUST their opinions on others is where the problem is truly asserted. To end this, we are now heading towards the world as we knew it, We will all have to answer for the things we have done. CATGIRL MEOW>>>>>

| Posted over 3 years ago Ummmm, NO. I cannot help that you don't believe in GOD, but for you to act like everyone is to believe the way that you do is not right either. I think I put that in my last post. If you think it is futile, I feel sorry for your soul and where you are to spend eternity. If you think you just live and die and that's the end you will soon find out is all I stated. |
