Thanks for the apron pattern offer....I have way too many but if I take that hobby up  you know I will post about it.

Honestly, if there is another way for me to post to those group boards just let me know.  I didnt post them to the general discussion threads, so I am not sure why some are getting upset over that.  I joined those groups for that purpose.

Go to where it says "Recent Discussions". Click on that. It opens a listing of all the discussions. If you want some serious ones look for any related to "Universal Healthcare". You will be sure to find somebody there willing to cuss you. Er, I mean willing to discuss it with you. Hi, Michelle. I'm copying some of those recipes. I'm with hungry up there. Yum.

Thanks michelle for your posts.........all of them.  I am so sorry somebody has no idea they dont know how to keep clicking on the title of the thread to pick something depressing, or nursing news.  Whoever the author is who started this thread, must suck to be you.  How miserable you must be.   Actually my favorite threads were the ones that a Martha Stewart clone had to write.  Wonderful advice on getting a stain out of carpet from dog puke..........does anybody remember that?   She also asked for input if anybody else had neat ideas like that.   I've gone back quite a ways to try to find it and intent on printing if I can find it.  One of my other ones, well it is nursing related, and it was one of CD's threads on test taking tips..........I did get that one printed and it did help.  If anybody is in contact with her........tell her she saved my bacon on a couple of tests..........and will continue benefitting from that post.   I gues the author of this thead has hardwood floors, which I wish.   Thanks to the people who took and time for cared enough to post these thoughtul posts.  Who did the apron thing?  I cant sew worth a toot but one day, I'll be out of school and I hope to have time for hobbies.  Why cant people like you just scroll down and find a topic that appeals to you instead of trying to publicly embarass someone who took the time to post these threads.   The threads on games.......check out the number of responses and you'll see that many of us participate in the games, I dont do games much anymore myself, but many do.    Whoever this author is...............freedom of speech is your right.  Once, monthes ago, I fussed onpenly about somebody fillng my mailbox with the same quiz link.  To my chagrin,  I apologized to her, she explained openly that it was an error to send so many quiz links to the same mailbox.  I wish I had not fussed about that,  and I apologized again.   To the author:  You should be ashamed of yourself.  Angie

Don't feel bad Michelle!!  You didn't do anything wrong.  Last time I checked, we nurses need to eat too.  It is nice to see a new recipe that sounds good and others may want to make.  If someone doesn't like that topic, they don't have to go to it.  :)

I posted the 6th post and I'd like to know how to get dog puke out of a carpet! Or more specifically cat puke. Think it's more or less the same? She ate Savory Salmon Feast and the carpet has this really dark stain I can't get out. Anyway you're cool Michelle.

Anybody that has any hints let me know.

Yup....I think this is symptomatic of the problem... On the other hand, the vast majority of people here are not nurses.

This site has a little something for everyone.  And the bottom line is.....if someone doesn't like this site, then get off.  Nobody is making you stay.  I wouldn't want to stay on a site that I didn't enjoy anymore.  In fact, if I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't spend time reading the posts.  Just an idea.   And yes, I am a nurse.

For the animal puke post..................All I remember was it included vinegar but there were 2 other things, whatever it was the dog puke stain is no more.  BTW, Sampson and Fred do the "i have to pee dance.........the circ le thing to let me know to go outside.  Its weird.    I sure wish I saved it or printed it.  If anybody knows who posted that Id love to have it again:   Angie

Well I'm a nurse but we never covered cleaning cat puke in nursing school. I did have an instructor who I'm sure ate cat food though because of the way her breath smelled. You know what I mean? Like yech. I mean like right after she'd go to lunch and she'd talk to you and it smelled like when your cat gives you kisses?

Anyways I'll try that vinegar thing and thanks Angie. And thanks for the lemon squares recipe, 'Chelle! G'night.

In case you have not noticed, CD (Ginny) has left the building along with many other founding members of this site. I was very sorry to see her and all of the rest leave. They added immensely to this site.

I still don't understand why anyone wants to start a thread complaining about someone or something in the ANONYMOUS ZONE.  Whomever created this should be woman/man enough to show themselves.  Furthermore, I like Michelle's recipes.  I love to cook.  I actually do have a life outside of nursing school, work and kids.  We have to have ways to destress just as much as any other profession.  I don't beleive that nurses are somehow looked down upon simply becasue we have opinions and lives outside of our patients.  If an individual is having these kind of issues, then perhaps it is an issue with themselves, not the entire profession of nursing.  If someone finds nursing to be such a "low life" profession to enter, then why take the time and exert the energy to do it?  Seems to me that there are simply some very unhappy, miserable people in the world who, for whatever reason, want to stir the pot and make sure other people are just as miserable and pathetic as they are.  Maybe you should take up cooking as a hobby.  Hey, Michelle has some great recipes for you to get you started!!!

I'm never sure why people complain about the games (or recipes). Ignore them if you aren't interested. I would prefer to see them in a separate area, but other than that, who cares???

If you want a serious discussion just go to "forums" and look for them.

I agree, why complain? I do not understand why anyone who does not like a forum like games or recipies goes there in the first place. Maybe they have fun whinning and complaining so they purposely look for something they do not like.  It is like someone who does not like baseball, going to a baseball game and complaining throughout the game. I enjoy the serious discussions on here, but I also enjoy the games and the recipes.  So if you don't like something don't go there.

I totally agree with you Red (Peggy).  If you don't like it, don't go to it!!  It seems very simple to me.  There are a lot of topics that come up that I don't look at because it doesn't catch my eye.  I don't go to each one and tell them that I don't like it and complain about it.  Some people are very bitter people and like to put others down and maybe even hurt others.  I guess the saying that misery likes company is true.  I say, get a life and stop complaining!!

I kinda figured you would be the OP. You ARE the mouthiest person on here. We already have several anonymous postings about the same stinking subject. Get off your high horse, if u dont like it dont read it. And while your at it, just stop posting all together, you cause way to much trouble and I think you enjoy it! Sick, just plain sick.
