I have Pharm this semester, and I can already see that it's going to be a lot of memorizing work.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to study this stuff? What methods have worked best for you?

Learn your drug categories.  If you know what a beta blocker does, then you can more easily learn the subtle differences between metroprolol, labetolol, or atenolol.

Learn your formulas.  Once you know your formulas, you will be able to solve all kinds of medication problems.  If you are weak in math, get help early.  This is an important part of what nurses do, and you will be tested continuously on it throughout your program.  My exams always have at least two math questions.
