| Posted over 3 years ago I believe so, that there is such thing as internet addiction, some of whom that i know would actually spend the entire 24 hours in the internet, the only time they have a break is just to pee! Here, i found an interestting Internet Addiction Test (IAT)-its their online test to know if you are already an internet addict or not: The Center for Internet Addiction Recovery: http://www.netaddiction.com/resources/internet_addiction_test.htm MY result: an average internet user "happiness depends upon ourselves" |

| Posted over 3 years ago I'm an internet addict and all of you are enabling my habit. Thanks for the help. Yes, I think it really could be an addiction that one could have, but I'm alright because I only spend 1 to 20 hours at a time on it, no problem here.

| Posted over 3 years ago I'm Talking about SETBACKS. I'M TALKING ABOUT MANAGING ONESELF. Addiction is only in the mind. Number one problem in the Internet is S P E L L I N G, if you are addicted to the Internet you will end up writing a lot in a hurry and making so many mistakes that you think are acceptable and that they are right. The "spell check" does not work on some computers (I suppose). Number two problem is that if you are addicted to Internet you will be sitting on your butt for so many hours that the FAT in your Stomach and you-know-where else can not and will not be disturbed at all. I can go on and on and on. The point is, there are so many addicting things in this world and it's up to you which one you would choose. It's like choose your poison. Temptation is too close to anyone who is so selfish and living in fantasy. It's your fault. It's your choice. Fake or not stop destroying yourself. |

| Posted about 2 years ago There is a lot of internect security software available today so the issue with internet addiction is more like something that is part of our lives. We need to use computers at work and access the internet. For people who work 8 hours/day in front of a computer and use the Internet, having an Internet addiction is not a choice, but actually their job. My opinion is that Internet addiction does not exist, but it is just a side effect of technology development. |
