As you've read, we are fully integrating NursingLink with Monster.com on 9/19. What changes can you expect? Check out the FAQ below, and feel free to ask anything you don't see on the list. We want to make this as easy for you as possible, because this is really an exciting change that will open up whole new worlds of career resources for you.

What will the new site look like?

Not that different, actually. Check it out here.

Will the website address change?

Yes, www.nursinglink.com will become www.nursinglink.monster.com, but you don't have to worry about getting lost when the change happens: accessing www.nursinglink.com will take you to www.nursinglink.monster.com. Changing your browser bookmark for NursingLink on 9/19 is a great idea, too.

Will I use the same name and password?
Yes and no. You may need to update your password to one that's a little bit more secure if our new system thinks it's a little wishy-washy. Also, you will sign into our system using an email address instead of your NursingLink username from 9/19 on. Your username will still identify you on the site, but the email address on file is what you will use to actually sign-in. In any event, our website will help you through the first log-in process on 919.

Help! I saved my password in my browser and don't remember what it is!
No problem! Change your password now to something you can remember or write it down, and save yourself the hassle come 9/19. To make things even easier and more secure, make sure your new password is at least 8-20 characters long with at least one number / symbol other than @ & - " <.

What do I get out of the change?
This is nothing but good for you! Here are a handful of reasons:

  • Your job searches will access hundreds of thousands of Monster.com job postings.

  • You can easily access your job search info, resume, and account information for both Monster and NursingLink wiht one log-in and password.

  • You can easily access NursingLink from your my.monster.com page.

I've still got questions!

Post your questions here or send a private message to GBPrice or klwinsor and they'll will get back to you ASAP.

Sounds good, but will it be user friendly?  I'll be fishing for a while is my guess.

Hi USAFlightMedic,

That's a great question. NursingLink will function as it always has. You'll still have access to the forums, the content, the quizzes, etc. You will see a small Monster tool bar at the very top of the site (above your avatar and where you sign in) which will allow you to easily navigate onto the main Monster site. The rest of NursingLink will look just as it always has.

When it comes to consolidating your NursingLink profile with your Monster profile, we'll walk you through the entire process. You'll be prompted at each step and will receive an email when consolidation in complete and it only takes a few minutes. Don't have a Monster profile? We'll help you create one quickly and easily using the information you already have on NursingLink.

Thanks for your question!

Not impressed. At all. The change came. My password did not work. So Monster would send me a new one. Someday. Maybe. Maybe not. Repeated requests got repeated lack of results so had to join again.

Not impressed in the least. Not surprised either. Big changes and everything goes to heck. Just like similar changes in hospitals.
