Hi! My name is Elaine.  I am 47 years old and I am waiting to see if I am being accepted in nursing school.  I have a hearing problem, do anyone think that it will hold me back from becoming a LPN?  Most of my co-workers are encourging me to go for it, but I am having problems with my 28 years old daugther.  At first she was encougeing to go for it, but now she having second thought.  She doesn't think I can do it.  She is trying to control everything I do since I lost my husband last year.  Please send me some advices or encouragment.  I could use some.  Thank you.
