True Story: I am an RN that was recently in hospital A.  The nurse doing the admission assessment, said "I hate to ask you this but it is a new requirement on our form."  Do you have Dementia?  Replied, If I did I would not admit and also probably would not know it.

After she left the room, I laughed out loud and called her back in.  Asked where am I?  I came by ambulance to Hospital A, the nurse in the ER had on scrubs from Hospital B on the coast that I had worked at and I am lying under a sheet that has Hospital C that I graduated stamped on it.  We chucled together and after discharge I have enjoyed telling this when I'm asked how I am doing.

This can be the joke of a life time for your facility.  You, the victem, gets  someone to do the video...............play it for all it works.   Make sure you have a couple  of alkaselzerw ro ro4  for fake rabies infection.   Make sure you do the moon across the ward <hospital gown with no undies and dont bother tying it well.  I did that for my hystrectomy. AKA, ass flashin.   The only think that made me look like a lost crack ho is the insistace of wearing of the Long John Silvers hat.

There have been times when I have wondered about my mental status...like the time I was trying to check a pedal pulse in my R sided below the knee amputee.  I was having trouble locating the right foot. Just about the time it dawned on me, the pt. says, "what are you looking for?"  Uhhhhh, I think I hear a call light....
