Posted 2 months ago I took the NLN pre-admission exam and I bought a book and just did question after question after question. There was math, bio, chem, physics on my exam and going over the questions was what helped me the most. The book I had even had review chapters on each subject.

Posted 2 months ago Hey tweety612 thanks for the response, do you still remember the name of the book and how much it cost to purchase it. I know the school that I am suppose to start going to actually sales the book of that the HESI company makes for their Nursing Entrance exam and it's $39.00 dollars. I am currently trying to find more options that involve not really spending that muh money. So any assistance on what the book is called that helped you or how much it cost would greatly be appreciated.

Posted 2 months ago If you go on Amazon and do a search for the HESI entrance exam book it will come up. The book is yellow and blue you can't miss it. My only advice is to study hard. The A&P part is definitely the hardest so you'll want to pay specific attention to that part.

Posted about 1 month ago sassy - I used the HESI A2 study guide (I think it was the 2nd ed). I bought it online from a used college textbook store for about $5 delivered! Going over ALL the questions plus reviewing A&P textbooks, my old chemistry book, plus reviewing all sorts of math problems, were all instrumental in my high score. I spent about 15-20 hours over a one week period preparing. I over studied but that was better than the opposite. Good luck!
