uuuuuuggggghhhh! Med-surg was the pits. Our instructor would read the text book to us. In a very monotone voice.

Med surg was hard. But I found that reading the NCLEX review book questions & answers with rationales for the area we were studing at the time to be helpful. I learned that by reading all the rationales for different answers helped me develop nursing logic (a little anyway).

I will be starting LVN school in May, does anyone have any tips or pointers on what i should start studying on before school starts, so i can be well prepared. Thank You, this will be very helpful for me.

I am graduating from LPN school June 26th!  I am 33 with an 8&10 yr old (girls).  I think the hardest part so far was A&P (for me anyway), which was in 1st term - thank God that's over with.  I am in 4th and last term right now and am excited to be doing OB and child health.

I absolutely hated OB, I mean how many times did they have to repeat massage the fundus, lol
