Man, I miss nurse Jane.  She was the best and in an ideal hospital there should be a couple like her on each floor.  It would make your day go by easy, ya know.  Can't wait until the season DVD comes out.  She really lived, kept necks loosened up, and didn't have 'nurses butt' either.  I scrubbed scrubs a few times in favor of a gander of this model alturnative nurse.  Wishful thinking at best, oh well.

Nurse Jane is a great show. There's always shows about some dogooder nurse...Hawthorne snd whatever else. Hawthorne is actually Nurse Jane without the addiction and the extramarital affair. Just like any other population it would be foolish to think that there aren't nurses out there that screw around on their spouses and happen to be drug addicts. There was a NP on the news just the other day who got caught stealing and using drugs.  There's probably a million Hawthorne-like shows and they're very boring . Nurse Jane is something we probably hear about from time to time but never get to see. Nobody complains when we have shows on Tv where men are always the morally incorrect characters.

I have a problem when TV or movies show nurses like that. Yes, I am sure there are nurses like nurse Jane, but the general public gets most of their ideas about nurses from TV and movies. Why do you think so many men have the hots for nurses.  For years nurses on TV and in movies were nothing but sluts. Then we had to put up with patients in the hospital expecting us to be just like them.  It is so sad.

Also about Hawthorne, that is a joke show. My God, a nurse who is supposed to be the cheif nursing officer in a hospital and she takes a patient assignment.........must be from never-never-land.  Get real!!!

1) us men have the hots for hot nurses only (<1% of the current nursing population) many of the rest are just plain average looking nurses or the fat ones with nurses butt (a flattened glutes w/excessive adipose tissue)

2) tv is all make believe and if you watch it much your into much make believe, period.  even reality shows are a bunch of hype.  live in reality it is much more realistic.  get some exercise and you may look like the 1%

Looking at a recent "Entertainment Weekly" that previewed new Fall shows and noticed two of the worst pictorial advertisements of medical shows EVER.  "Trauma" or something like that...their stupid faux "stressed at the scene" facial expressions...please.  And "Mercy"..."Some Nurses give shots.  Nurse So-and-so calls them."  (sound of me hurling)
