what do you think of the idea of allowing very small businesses to join together so they could provide low cost insurance for thier employee's? How about tax breaks for medical people who volunteer thier time at free clinics? Or nurses who volunteer to make home or phone visits to teach self care? How about a tax credit for people who take care of themselves, dont smoke or drink, healthy weight and all wellness test recommended are completed? Could we save alittle on health care if we made good health profitable? there are options other than gov't run health care which scares me, thier track record isnt all that. I dont want them deciding if someone I love gets care or not. How long do you think it would be before they would triage care as the military does, the easiest to treat and return to prductivity gets the tx first and the sickest who would use resources and not be productive for some time are last to be treated or they are put into the expectant category and at best pain treated. as nurses i believe we couls fix this system if we put our ideas together.
