Posted over 3 years ago Now anybody who lives on the Mexican border is laughing about this "fence". Begun by the Bush administration post-9/11 it lives on because of the monies already authorized for its construction. But it is not end-to-end along the border and you can simply go to the end of a section and stroll across. I know. I have done so. Check the story out and be dismayed about the situation and your tax dollars. Read the whole story. It's very short and has pictures. www.elpasotimes.com/newupdated/ci_13363849

| Posted over 3 years ago Was that the way it was meant to be originally? Certainly sounds like a waste. Maybe add some clear fields of fire and some 50 cal. operators and call it a DMZ. I know that will not happen, but that is what I would do if it were up to me only. Run as fast as you can and if you can make it your free. Or wait, I have a better idea, apply for a visa to work in the US the legal way. I do feel bad for the poor of Mexico, and the many other nations that have large numbers of under serviced folks, but it is illegal to just cross.
