Posted over 3 years ago Nursing - selling out and selling short - as usual. Monster has done nothing to enhance NL and everything to detract. Your personal info now belongs to Monster. Part of the nebulous cloud on the world wide web where God only knows where your information ends up. |

Posted over 3 years ago I wholeheartedly agree! The NL members who are administrators have been very helpful when I have technical problems, but Monster is the pits. For one thing, they forced me to put in a birthdate - so I made one up. I don't care about revealing my age (60) but I don't want identifying info broadcast to everyone...

Posted over 3 years ago Cap'n: same here. What really irked me was the email I got when I wrote to complain about the birthday nag screen. I didn't want to give my birth date. The bogus reply was they needed my birthdate to comply with some law regarding 13 year olds--which was NOT the reason the nag screen was giving me (I screen captured the original screen). These guys are FOS.

Posted over 3 years ago 36 hours and no new password e-mailed. Confirms to me this is a field to harvest for Monster. Which means I would never use it to look for a job. Yahoo Jobs is better anyway.

Posted over 3 years ago My husband has been in HR admin for over 30 years.................he said Career Builders is much more prestigious and companies are much more apt to read a resume from Career Builders than any other online job search engine. We only have one heart, take care of it! Angie
