Oh good god... it has a name....I suck at math, seriously seriously suck.. I never could understand it and to this day struggle... I had no idea i could get diagnosed with a DISORDER.....if you SUCK at math.. all it means is you have to work a little bit HARDER than the next guy. I ,to this day do not know my multiplication tables by heart.. YET i got through physics with an A ,undergrad and graduate statistics with As...

I really detest threads like... biology is soo yukky I don't like it..... or math is soooo hard.. I'm just a girl... Or chemistry is stopping me from becoming a nurse as i was told to do by the ghosts of Mother Threresa and Florence Nightengale as I nodded off watching American Idol.

Suck it up and drive on.

Even though I do not work in ICU anymore I do still have the calculator I used there. It is the kind with a folding cover. It still has all the equations I used to determine cardiac output, stroke volume, complicated vasopressive drips etc. I was a math dummy because I let myself be a math dummy. The Marines forced into me the ability to do whatever the heck I set out to do. Doesn't come easy? Work harder, just like Sevo said.

The most common 'Math disorder' is the 'I didn't study' sign.  It is common place it seems.  It is like pulling teeth, but you have to put forth an effort to overcome the task at hand.
