I'm at the end of my LPN program and I'm looking into schools to continue for my RN. However, I'm also considering the bridge program offered online. I'm wondering if I could get some advice on which would be the better decision. Online I still have req'd clinicals to complete..I'm really confused.

I completed an on-line LPN to RN program. I really liked it. I guess the question you need to ask yourself is, what type of learner are you? For an on-line school, you need to be dedicated and a self-motivator. You won't necessarily have that instructor pushing you everyday to complete your course work.

Thanks for the advice Shan4691.  I would have to say that I want to do this so I have no choice but to be motivated and dedicated.  The program that is being offered to me is the LPN-BSN.  In some things I may need the class and in some absolutely not.  Do you mind me asking what school did you complete your program with and how long did it take?

I graduated from Excelsior College and once I put 100% effort into the program it took me about 1 1/2 years. It took me about 6 months to get myself in gear and get serious about studying and taking exams.

I am currently in the RN to BSN program though the University of Phoenix and I love it.

Thank you all for the input.  Shan4641- Excelsior is actually a school that was offered by the admissions person from college network.  However, he also told me it would be good to go for the BSN at Indiana State University in which they also offer as well.  MariaMN-  Do you think that it's easier for you to do it online for your BSN as an RN already or do you think that it's ok to go online from LPN to BSN?  sap-  we are in the same position of considering online schooling, except I haven't gotten to my RN yet but I definitely ready to get started on that...maybe you could check out college network too.  By the way I would love to know some tips on preparing for the NCLEX as well..and again thanks for everyone's input.
