Posted about 1 month ago hi!! i'm planning to take up phlebotomy class... i would like to consider your opinion guys coz you've been in the business long enough to know if this is a good idea... By the way, i have no experience or background at all in medical field... hopefully, this will be my first (phlebotomy). here are my questions: -i now live in Los Angeles CA, is there any school near my location that you can recommend? -is this a good idea or should i take other class first to be able for me to easily land a job? thanks!!! please help me, i'm confused... |

| Posted about 1 month ago Go apply to all the hospitals as a lab assistant. Most phlebotomists are not trained. Lab technicians are trained and attend lab tech training. Lab assistant are shown how to do venipuncture and collect blood samples. And maybe sputum samples too if you're lucky. |
