Posted about 1 month ago I am so bummed out right now. I have already applied to a nursing program in Texas, and should hear whether I get in this January. I have a 4.0 and made an 89.4 on my Entrance HESI. The only problem is that the school requires background checks before starting the program. I have been convited of a felony over 6 years ago. I already started the paperwork for a declatory order from the BON, and just recieved a letter that they need 150.00 more dollars to look into my case deeper. I have no problem paying the money, but I just don't know if I will recieve the order before my program starts in Jan 2010. My felony was credit card abuse and I successfully completed 5 years probation, along with drug rehab. Does anyone have any advice for me? I feel like giving up. Tomorrow they check is in the mail, so I guess it is just another waiting game. If anyone has any advice or similiar stories I would really love hearing from you! |
