What's your 3 biggest pet peeves?

Me:

1. PDA's (public displays of affection)

2. Parents who abdicate all responsibility for their children

3. Drama Queens

People who lack a sense of personal responsibility, These are the people who never make mistakes. Buck-up! Get Real. Everyone makes mistakes, it's not the mistake you make, but how you recover from it. (see my personal fav sayings to live by)

I agree with all these pet peeves, especially people NOT using indicators while driving ... alot of my pet peeves I can put under the heading "BAD Drivers".. they are probably the same people who don't take responsibilty for what happens in their lives and who don't cover their mouths when they cough. Only one I don't think could be a pet peeve of mine is public displays of affection... only if it's mild... cuddling and a few pecks is fine, but when a couple are writhing around on the beach or in a park I'm thinking 'ooh get a room!'

Pet peeve : People who push in lines at stores, shops and on the road
People who always talk about themselves continually but never ask about another
People who whine and moan about their lot in life but have good health, are well off and have family
People who live of government benefits and free hospital system and complain about services
Fat older men who walk around without shirts! Too much info (anyone in too revealing clothes)

JennaJay: I love your last pet peeve-it made me LOL. Mine is bad drivers-especially the ones who drive right on your bumper or the ones who won't let you get in their lane for nothing, but the worst are people who know the lane is going to end but speed up to the front of the line anyway. Another is: telemarketers-they drive me crazy and last, but not least, people who gossip.

Char... How are ya, just got out of school about a half hour ago. Yea, bad drivers, I just think to myself when those road assholes drives by, someday you are going to be strapped to my backboard. How about picking your nose in public. Or coughing in the hand as he extends it for a hand shake. Biggest one is GOSSIPERS, makes my stomach turn when I hear gossip, "she slept with him," or "those are not her real boobs," I always throw in some kind of over the top smart ass sarcastic remark; I guess that they are catching on. Janna, you are right on too, if you don't have the body for it, then don't wear it or better yet, cover it up at least a little. I don't mind PDAs, I think that there should be more!!! Keep the man's attention on you and not the one walking in front of you, I must admit that my eyes start to wonder and the attention starts to drift, just plant a wet passionate one and it's good for 10-15 minutes.

Al - love the backboard response - when somebody flies by me on the freeway, I just shrug to myself and think, oh well, they will beat me to the cemetery...

PDA's - holding hands and peck on the cheek is one thing - writhing like eels and sound effects is quite another...

Jenna - i agree with revealing clothing as well - visible undergarments gross me out.

Ever notice those cars are always the ones that have bumper stickers that say "RELAX, it's only a lane change!"

I saw one on my way to class the other day that said, "Cover me, I'm going to change lanes..."

Len... you are so funny... I remember being sent to the principal’s office when I was in High School (Christian High School), for holding my GFs hand while walking her to her car. I hear ya, all in its proper place and time. But we do all have that little wild side in us just waiting to crawl out.

Char... I was suspended from sporting events for one month, and she was forbade to talk to me on the school premises for a month, my GF and I were both in varsity sports. Those were the days and perceptions were different. To the older folks, we wild and out of control!!!

Negative people and people who are full of excuses are my biggest pet peeve. Some one who says "I can't do..... because of......" or "I can't finish......because of.....". They always have an excuse as to why they are not at fault or why the whole world is against them!

PPS - also re bad drivers, speeding like maniacs on the highway, I also say to myself, well, it's your funeral buddy just don't take me with you.
Ironically you pull up at the next set of lights right next to them, it's like, well, he beat me to the lights, good for him!

You all have great pet peeves. And I don't think there is one I don't agree with! About not using turn signals, didn't you guys know that they are optional on the newer more expensive cars, like Cadillacs, BMW's, Mercedes, Lexus, and all SUV's driven by soccer moms with one or two children!

1. Liars 2. People who talk nasty behind someone's back and then to their face they are as sweet as pie (this happens at work alot). 3) Drivers who speed up to go around you...only to pace you or the drivers that speed up, go around you, and then slam on their breaks and drive slow.

One of my pet peeves is people who go to the doctor, get a medication, not take the medication, then complain that they are not getting any better. Also the patients who come in wearing designer clothes, driving new cars but are on medicare and can't afford to buy their kids medicine, then you see them step out the door and light up a cigarette.

1) Doctors who come in an hour late and act as though it is no big deal as they swagger down the hall way!!!! (being part of management, I have to deal with the patients that have been waiting for an hr and half) 2) Patients who yell at me about the Doctor being late, but are as sweet as pie to the Doc when he/she finally sees them....come on, yell at him maybe he won't be late next time!!! 3) People who are overly competative.....when there is no competition what so ever.
