85 questions and feel like I failed

Posted about 1 month ago I took the pn NCLEX yesterday and can not focus on anything else but that test. I feel like I was confident going into the test center and left there ready to pass out. I did this Pearson Vue trick and want to know if it really works. Especially right after you take the test? |

| Posted about 1 month ago Getting down on yourself after the fact does you no good at all! I'd say you should probably go back and study up on the parts that made you feel like you were failing, just to give yourself peace of mind. If you have to take it again, you have to, but you'll be a better nurse for it in the end. |

| Posted about 1 month ago I agree. Allowing yourself to worry until the results come in is not going to help you (trust me and all the other nurses who have made it through, we've all had to come through where you are right now! ;) ). Find something to do! Yes, I also recommend going over the questions you struggled with, I did it as soon as I left the site and I guarantee I will never forget the questions again! (except math! :)...but I also recommend going out to a resturant with family or friends, movie, something! Try to stay occupied... it will not erase the feeling of waiting for the results, but it may help in decreasing the anxiety and the feeling of utter madness! (excercise works great!) If you are referring to paying for the pearson vue quick results...yes it does work...the trick is you will not be able to review the results for 2 days after the time in which the text results were completed. Example, if your test was at 12pm Wednesday and you did not finish until 2pm, you will not be able to see your results until after 2pm on Friday. If you desire to wait and not pay for the results, you can wait a week (or there about) from your test date to see your results on www.nursys.com The only thing I am not sure about is whether or not it makes a difference if you are in a compact state or not . I was in a compact state when I tested and was able to see my results through nursys.com. How ever the turn out...you should be proud of yourself for making it THIS FAR...give yourself some slack and try to relax... Blessings |

| Posted about 1 month ago It also depends where you live. I know when I took my boards, some of my classmates paid to see their results and received them in two days, while others went online to the Floridia Department of Health, once you are on the site, you can check for your license number... If you received a number you passed... These results are posted for free and in two days as well... I believe this is the same for most states with the exception of CA. Sorry you did not pass... You will this time around... Best of luck to you! |
