MrBrown says ...

No argument there are quite a large number of spoiled men in the NFL. That includes owners (Snyder, Johnson) and players (way too many to list). Americans are starting to eat it. Why does everybody here with few exceptions think this clown has a right to anything more than what he has? Get real. Grow up, join the service. I can promise you that most of you who feel he has "the right" to own a NFL team have never served.

He already fills the airwaves with drivel. I don't try to deny him or his listeners of that right. That's enough for the moron.

BTW- the NFL, MLB, NBA are NOT democracies, not ruled by the rule of democratic law and are capitalism with a capital "C". Some of you folks talk out of both sides of your mouth. And that DOES mean some posters on this topic. Alphmale is right and I was with him giving to, and voting for, Republicans until Wolfowitz/Rumsfeld/Cheney/Bush's/Gingrich et al ruined the GOP.

Instead of worrying about Limburger get busy writing your reps about ending these 2 stupid "wars".

Mr Brown, my concern is not with Mr. Limbaugh's personality nor his personal life. My concern is someone, or should I say anyone being punished for their opinions and beliefs. Today him, tomorrow maybe you or I? If this had been say Bill Maher, I would still be concerned that this individuals rights were being taken away. That would be like me having the money to purchase a good or product, and being told I could not based on thoughts or opinions I had in the past. Some possibly even exaggerated or frabricated.

In the start of my post, I stated that I had been the target of false accusations of racism here in Houston. When I asked what I had supposedly said that was so racist, and who was accusing me, I was given no clear cut answer. So, I'm voicing a concern that what appears to be a tactic to muscle people out of a job or business opprotunities seems to be working.Just label that person a racist, and well, they're done for. Doesn't that scare you just a bit? If it wasn't Limbaugh, but someone else would it then disturb you?

We need to look past the controversy of Limbaugh's personality and look at rights being taken away. Would this same tactic be used on Al Sharpton? Somehow I doubt it. He's the master of screaming "racism" anytime things don't go his way.

People, people people! Stop with this "rights" business! I'm quite sure all of you speak English well enough so I will say this again - HE HAS NO RIGHTS WHEN IT COMES TO THE NFL. None. Zero. Zilch. Zip. Nada.

HE HAS NO RIGHT TO OWN A TEAM IF THE NFL SAYS THEY DO NOT WANT HIM IN IT!!!! Period! The NFL team owners group does not want him in their midst. The NFL is a private concern. It is owned by rich men or groups of rich men. It does not sell stock in individual teams.

This thing about a "right" to anything and everything in the US seems to have gone too far. I say that because people keep bringing up Rush's "rights" when it comes to this issue.

If it bothers you that much write the Ram's and the NFL and threaten to boycott the games in your homes and at work. Boycott buying any of their licensed products like t-shirts, jerseys and knick knacks. Have T-shirts printed saying how it is unfair to Rush.

But quit wasting your time and the principle of rights in this issue. If the NFL says he doesn't have the right to buy a team then he doesn't have the right.

And most of you howling here promote capitalism and all its attachments. This is capitalism at its zenith!

Oh good grief. Capitalism is what runs the NFL. Nothing wrong with it. It came up because so many posters on this specific topic keep carping about Rush Limbaugh's "rights" being violated by the NFL not allowing him to buy into the St. Louis Ram football team. Read the entire topic and see how it fits.

Constitutional rights have NOTHING to do with him being denied the chance to be part of the NFL. He would do nothing to enhance the NFL while being a distraction before even buying in. He isn't a famous ex-players, he knows nothing special about football. In short the NFL does not need or want Rush, at least at this point in time.

Oh Mr Brown I am sorry. Truely I was not trying to start an argument. I need to say onething when you said,"good grief," all I could think of was Chariel Brown. I am not being insulting but after rading your post all I could do was think of Charlie Brown.

Good. That is why I said that the way I did. I feel like Charlie Brown trying to explain something about sports to Lucy. Pretty sad when everything these days comes down to somebody's rights even when no rights are involved. This was a business decision, plain and simple.
