Posted about 1 month ago does your hospital give you a raise if you have special certifications i.e med surg cert or gerontological cert or oncology cert?i read on the ANA website that certified nurses can expect to make up to 9000 bucks more than their uncertified peers! does anyone know this to be true? |

| Posted about 1 month ago I'm sure that may be true in some places. When I attained my CEN it was good for points on my clinical ladder, but that was about it. I couldn't justify the $370 to renew. |
