Posted over 5 years ago It happen often that when I get really comfortable at work or with my time management assessment and practical skills (still a student), out of the blue, something will happen to throw you me off and prove to that I really don't have a reason to be feeling all comfy. Just when I think that I have experienced it all, I am proven wrong. What are some of your experiences? |

| Posted over 5 years ago Al-that's just life! I always thought as you got older, things would get easier but it isn't so. Seems to me, the more I think I know, the less I really do. |

| Posted over 5 years ago I think we all get to a point where we need to be humbled a bit. How many times over the years have we felt that we have truly seen just about all there is to see or that you're ready for whatever rolls through the ambulance doors only to be "dumbed up" quite shortly thereafter? You'll go for what seems like months without missing any IV sticks and as soon as a thought as to how good you are enters into your head, you miss like three in a shift...and big ones. To me, that's just God's little way of keeping me humble and letting me know that I'm not all that. |

| Posted over 5 years ago I remember the post in the forum asking "Can you ever have too much experience?" You can never have too much because it isn't possble to have "too much"! Just when you think you know it all something always pops up. Considering how old I am I should have learned that by now, but alas, I frequently get reality checks (especially being in Las Vegas aka Sin City.) For example, like the story that ran yesterday about the new ways people are trying to get high these days. I thought it couldn't get any worse than meth but stuff keeps creeping up. Remember when kids were choking each other to get light headed and pass out for a bit? That was wild. |
