Are there any cardiac nurses out there that know anything about witholding fluid.  It started about a week ago in my left leg mostly the ankle.  I noticed it when I compared the left ankle to the right ankle.  Yesterday I noticed the left hand is swollen as well.  I don't know of anything different I am doing.  I exercise every day.  I'm on my feet 8 hours a day I sell appliances in a store and am working towards getting my CNA I should have it by mid December as well as I continue to take nursing classes.  I am on one pill Nabumetone 500 mg bid.  I see my PA for my knee tomorrow to do a cortizone injection.  I spoke with my primary physician and he said some one should take a look at it and see what is going on with it.  Any ideas about it?....thanks....My right side doesn't appear to be affected at all...jean
