i just read the top ten things not to say to a nurse. i remember watching the animaniacs and them saying that all the time. so my question is, how many of you hear this, and how often. this particularly pertains to the ladies, yet im sure some of the guys get this too from woman patients, mostly older women i bet. haha

I heard it alot when i was in the hospital and more so nursing school when me and my classmates (1-2 other girls, my self, and 1 guy friend of ours) would go to lunch after clinicals. One time it happened outside of a mcdonalds so i looked at the two guys that shouted it to us and said "dont bother your not his type" loved their reaction.

I vary seldom hear it at the nursing home except from some of the male LPNs and STNAs who think they are funny.

You won't hear it at all if you quickly render your patients unconscious!
