Can you think of a time that you went above and beyond for a patient?

for me it would be when i am tired, hungry and just feel like i cant go on...but i keep moving and doing for my patient...putting their needs before my own. this is especially true at the end of my 3-12's in a row and i have a few hours to go before getting off. i dont feel like going above and beyond but sometimes i just feel that need to.

I had a patient that was at a sleep study.  She was total care and the women at the facility where she was wouldn't help her with changing her brief or getting out of the bed, etc.  This pt  was an elderly woman that weighed 300lb and was blind and almost deaf.  She needed help but there was no one there that could help her, so I found this out and went there at 5 a.m. and got her cleaned and ready to come back to the facility where she was a resident.
