LOL that was funny, why go through the process of being a nurse just to marry a doctor, that is just too shallow. If you have what it takes for a doctor to like, love, want, need you, then it wouldn't be too difficult for you to get his "sweet yes!"

Asses yourself, do you have what it takes for a doctor to like you to the point of marrying you?!

Sounds like you went to nursing school just to get an 'Mrs.' degree!  What makes you think that you can count on ANYONE else, much less a DOCTOR to take care of you and your needs.  I'll bet that the first thing you will try to do is get pregnant if you DO marry one.  That is what I have seen in people who seek out this type of marriage in order to 'hook him' for the rest of his life.

There is NOTHING special about marrying a doctor but if you are so determined then go to work at a hospital associated with a medical school.  And work FAST because there are a lot of sisters just like you who got there first.

And if you succeed, may God have mercy on your soul!

I don't mean to ruin your dreams but if you work for a doctor they may prefer you spell correctly. Good luck anyhow

Twenty five years ago I married a nice man whom I supported through 13 years of undergraduate school, medical school, surgery residency and two children.   Today, that sweet man has turned into an egotistical nightmare.  He treats me and our grown children like we are his "employees."    The days revolve around "his" schedule.   My life looks wonderful from the outside, but never judge a book by its cover.   Unfortunately, money and power are terrible attractions to some people.

I used to wonder stuff like this while playing with my barbies. Amazing the options kids have for entertainment these days. If you are a nurse that looks like a Barbie. You will marry a Dr. that looks like Ken. :)

I can see these people cannot answer a question with out being wise guys.

The best nursing job to get to marry a doctor is one where you make enough money and have enough time off to get some sugical improvments done. Start with the tried and true breast augmentation. There are the most visible and will alert any future doctor that you are so willing to attract a doctor, not only will you spend MONEY on a boob job.. you will actually risk your life to undergo anesthesia. Remember, he wants LOOKS not brains.. his second wife he will marry for brains.. Wear scrubs too large. This way when you bend over to pick something up or he is standing at the desk.. he can peer upon those man magnets you had installed.

Make sure you wear very very low cut pants... and this is key.... thong panties...and insure the "Whale tail" the triangular portion in the back is visible when you stoop down. A tribal tat on the small of the back can backfire...some like it.. others call it a tramp stamp...Why get something on a portion of your body unless you will be using it to entertain some guy who is bored with what hes doing and would simply like to gaze at that tat.

Finally, get a job in a large teaching institute. The reason for this is two fold...there are lots of doctors ( Residents)  available.. AND call room to go to. Also get a nursing job where you can be off the floor and no one will really notice. Psych nursing comes to mind.

There, I hope i have helped.

All I can say is "be careful for what you wish for'.    Reminds me of my mom telling me "its just as easy to fall in love with a rich man as a poor man'.    I totally disagree with with my mom, personally.   However it didnt stop me from doing a background check on my husband before he popped the question..................it wasnt hard to do, either.   Nope, I didnt say "yes to "i do' because he was a homeowner with a great house, has stock options, and a decent 401K goin, and a good credit check , but I was more incined to day "yes to date #2'.

someone made a comment about why would you want to marry a doctor. I have to say, many of them seem very egotistical, but there are some very sexy and (appear to be anyway) sweet doctors out there. I wouldn't mind getting to know some, if I weren't already married (I almost got divorced, but he is showing a serious turnaround so it's looking like I won't be leaving after all).

No, I use to see him sometimes when I floated to the ICU's he was a Lung Specialist Resident at the time. I know he is a Attending  by now, that's been years ago, The only thing we did was make google eyes to each other when he and I was working with a patient, I nevered performed CPR on a patient, like someone commented on here, and you know the rest of the story!!!!!,  although he was cute enough to that  lol.
