Posted over 5 years ago Do you feel that nurses are being protected against this disease.....In the hospital that I work it seems it is being taken to lightly.....We now have entire families contaminated with this disease in our area. I am really concerned... |

| Posted over 5 years ago okeenangel said: i completely agree with you?? whatever happened to isolation?? at my job we just recently (like a month ago) had 3 respiratory therapists off of work d/t mrsa infections! the 1 RT, this was her second case in this year! and the bad thing is that it is just not mrsa. it is also vre and esbl. there needs to be something done about this!! it needs to be taken more seriously than what it is. |

| Posted over 5 years ago Thanks for the comment.....I was beginning to think that this was just me...lol.....we really need to work on this problem.......We have patients coming from different hospitals that have been infected while there so I know our hospital is not alone with this disease... |
