| Posted about 1 year ago I believe it,too. No joke. People, think about it. Charlita has a very good point. have you ever had something happen and thought " oh my god, that was close." Or maybe something like "I was so lucky". What about like you feel like your not alone, when you really not. You just can't see them. We often are quick to pass things off as deja vu but think about where you might of really got that information.

Posted about 1 year ago I absolutely believe in Angels and the power of prayer. For example where I live there was a huge rain storm visibility was like a 2. Anyway I had to cross over a bridge with water all around and as I went thru the toll booth I could see nothing, I was scared (too many accidents have happened on that bridge) I prayed all the way and by the time i got midway up the bridge it was if the sky cleared up, no clouds and no rain and I felt like there were angels just waiting there making sure everyone got over alright. There was undoubtedly an overwhelming sense of peace. I know that may sound strange to some but I really do believe. Oprah does too, (I love Oprah) There is a book my pastor recommened to us and at first honeslty I thought it would be boring but it was one of the best books I read in a long time. I couldn't put it down. It by Frank E. Perreti "This Present Darkness" Its all about Angels and the power of good and how prayer and belief can surmount anything. Trust me I love movies and this was a page turner. Rent it and give it a try

Posted about 1 year ago Nurses are angels! That is one of the reasons why I like the article on the homepage about "nurstry" because it is about making us on a more equal playing field. WE are the ones who not only provide the physical aid but in my experience we are always the ones consoling the families during the dark times. We are strong and have to hold others while they cry.

Posted about 1 year ago I believe in angels, and in the phenomenon that sometimes the deceased sometimes "stick around" for just a bit. Case in point: I was doing my regular 1 hour morning tae-bo routine before work about 5 years ago, and out of the corner of my eye, kept seeing someone standing in my kitchen (at the time it was just my son and I), and it was too early in the morning for my son to even think about getting up. Everytime, I'd turn my head to look, it was like a shadow that just disappeared...this happened about four or five times throughout the hour, and then never again. Later that same day I got a call from my grandfather...my great grandmother had died that morning. While I was growing up, I spent a lot of time with her, as she lived with my grandparents. We'd do crafts, watch Wheel of Fortune, and Bob Ross (painter on PBS), etc. She developed Alzheimer's, and soon got to the point where she failed to recognized even my grandpa, which was heartbreaking. I honestly believe that she showed up in my house to "check up" on me, and say good-bye. I was never scared, and after giving it a bit more thought, felt quite at peace with the whole thing. Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

Posted about 1 year ago that's what some people think-that when see something-a shadow-out of the corner of our eye and no one is there-it is a spirit. I've had that happen to me.DaMomb's sounds harmless but like in the movie I mentioned White Noise-there are some evil and malicious spirits hanging around. I'm not sure I believe this. I don't want to even think about this.

Posted about 1 year ago God created angels. Angels that worship and praise God are the ones that God sends to warn or even give directions and protections to us. A lot of instances can be read in the Bible. An angel annouced to Mary that she will give birth to a Saviour of the earth. An angel talked to Joshua how to make the walls of Jericho fall down. An angel came in the early days and will continue to be with us................The fallen angels are the ones who wanted to be the gods. They are also here around us trying to get the chance to got hold of us. Angels has no sex, and dead people can never be angels. Angels are special beings but people are the ones that Good Lord loved most. When angel disobeys, he will be part of the Kingdom of Darkness. People disobey---------- God is always ready to forgive and forget as long as we repent. Yes, God sent me an angel to make sure that I will know and accept Him. Guess what! My angel did a good job!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted about 1 year ago Ever wonder why you chose one path over another? Career, love, life, marriage, etc. I truly believe someone is guiding my path. I have made some questionable choices over the years, but they always seem to be the right ones--I may not know it for 10 years, but my life has certainly worked out for the best.

| Posted about 1 year ago Faith is beliving in what you cannot see. Tho if you look diligently every minute your eyes will open. Two things I know because I have seen. 1 God gives something to see everyday that is so beautiful that it takes your breath away.2 I believe in angles. The corporeal ones walking among us, and the unseen host of God that guide us and protect us. Now you may think I have lost it, and you might be right, but you cannot convince me that while I was laying on that highway in Michigan, that what I saw flying out of the sun was anything othere than the 3 angels I have spoken of before.

Posted about 1 year ago I worked hospice for many years, and often enough patients would lok towards the ceiling and "talk to the angels", before they'd pass. Alot of times confused and/or comatose patients would "come to for moments of clarity before the end. I DO believe! Ya gotta have faith...

Posted about 1 year ago At one time, the care of the ill and dieing was a profession of high respect, it was done by the purest of souls, that would guide the souls to the afterlife, and then doctors came along and changed everything.

Posted about 1 year ago I believe in Angels. My mom saw her grandmother the night she died although she was many miles away, she appeared at the foot of her bed. I have seen and felt things I could not rationally explain. I believe that God allows us to see and feel things at times so we are prepared for what lies ahead. I am glad that I have my faith to comfort me and to help me to comfort others. Without my faith I am nothing.

Posted about 1 year ago Yes, I believe in Angels. I also believe that my loved ones who have passed away 'visit' me in my dreams. Have I seen a spirit during my waking state? - Yes, I have.

Posted about 1 year ago I do believe that angels are watching over us. There have been some very dark moments in my life and then a stranger has come into my life and made a difference. I think that people are sent to help us in our times of need. Sometimes we are sent to others for the same reason. I believe that we cross each others path for a reason. When my Dad was extremely sick I told him that I believed that I would see him again after he passed. He said "I don't believe in that shit!". I told him that it didn't matter if he didn't believe, because I did. Months later, he was dying and he said to me "I believe you Krissy, I saw God and I saw the angels..."

Posted about 1 year ago i had a car accident when i was in 4th yr. high school. my dad was the one driving and i am at the front seat. we don't use seatbelts in my country. i was to take my college entrance test at that day and it was raining so hard. my dad stopped in front of the public utility vehicle ( a long jeepney) when a drunk driver hit as from the back. our car is bulletproof but my head hit the windshield because of the strong impact. the car is totally wrecked. i felt very dizzy but nobody was bruised or hurt. during the accident, i felt as if somebody cushioned my head. i don't remember having a headache but i was dizzy- bigtime.the doctor was surprised that inspite of the impact i was not hurt. the windshield has a crack --- a weblike crack. the doctor told us that in that situation, i could be dead or comatose.

Posted about 1 year ago Christianwoman you are a very special person and what you write is so interesting. God loves us all and when we need an angel to come our way God provides it. I would not have made it this far in nursing school without my angel. God is awsome.

| Posted about 1 year ago I am not a very religious person, but I am very spiritual and I do believe there are angels among us. I had a very hard time when my Meme passed....I had these really weird dreams....I think that was her way of telling me she was ok. When my Godfather died (he died in a plane crash, he hit a mountain colorado...my father searched for him for 4 yrs...), my father said one night he woke up and Jimmy was sitting at the end of the bed. He told my dad he was ok...
