you are a medical professional, you h the drive to succeed, you are you. you recognize that you are here for one reason, to help others. you hope to gain every ounce of confidence from your patients and have the patience to endure those who won't.

saying this, i have a question, what made you want to be a medical professional and why.

me my reasons vary on a daily basis...

- my son
- my finances-
stability in the work world... i have to get benefits..
- i love helping people i get so much joy knowing that i care about the world and am doing my part.
i have reached so many goals in this field and i lover every day. its so amazing enriching those who we help, ven if is listening to them.. or taking vitals or just being there for them..
i just wish there were more peopl in this world like us who care so much for our community..there are so many unexplainable reasons.. what are yours.

I want to help people. I also went into renal failure back in '05 due to lupus, and the Dr. keeps on telling me I am his miracle patient. I want to help other people like his nurses helped me. Being sick comes with a whole lot of medical bills, but not the real reason why I am wanting to go into nursing. When I worked as a C.N.A. back in 2002, when I would walk into the nursing home, and I would be hugged by the residents, it meant so much to me. Besides, I love challenges and I love to see how I overcome them. I would love to work in a dialysis clinic, oncology clinic (I had to be put on chemo due to the lupus/ renal failure), OR for a VA clinic.
