Posted over 3 years ago Hi, my name's Nikki. I'm a student at Gloucester County College in NJ, and I'm a pre-nursing student. I'm applying to get into the program next fall. I plan to keep going to school until I attain my practitioner's license. Are any of you practitioners? I heard about a thing they're doing in NJ from my mom (who is also a nurse). She told me that if you get your bachelors degree, you can apply to this program where they'll pay for your masters and your doctorates. It's nice to meet all of you. |

| Posted over 3 years ago Hi Nikki....nice to see you on nursing link. Welcome. You will meet a lot of nice people here that can answer lots of questions you may have in the field of nursing. Good luck in nursing school. I graduated in June and I am now working as a RN in my local hospital. It's a dream come true. I too want to continue to my Masters to become a NP. I haven't heard about what you mentioned. : ) |

| Posted over 3 years ago I hadn't heard of any such program either, at least not any governmental program. I'm in New Jersey and am an administrator / consultant. I'll bet it is a specific employer who is willing to put their qualified employees through that program. If so it must be a fairly large employer - check it out with the larger hospital corporations in NJ (St. Barnabas, Meridian, Robert Wood Johnson) Good Luck! |
