Posted over 3 years ago Due to a law signed into effect by baROCK Obama in December. Interpol can now on US soil, legally investigate, wiretap, and do what it wants and NO ONE can stop them. It's funny, the administration is so worried about terrorist rights, yet it is signing away the rights and sovereignty of the American people. http://www.americanpoliticalanalysis.com/the-rightpress-blog/ There are many speculations regarding President Obama’s secretive Executive Order 12425 that was made in the middle of the night on December 17, which grants full immunity to INTERPOL (the International Police Organization) on American soil. The order basically grants the foreign law enforcement agency some very broad powers to operate nearly unrestricted within the United [...] http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/index.php?pid=87003 |

Posted over 3 years ago OH MY GOD... NOOOOOO please say it isn't so.. not INTERPOL:... our freedoms have just been sold down the river by that hard core Marxist- Leninist in the white house.... INTERPOL is a very dark secretive organization whos sole purpose is to undermine liberties and overthrow the government of the United States of Amercia by any mean possible...But I thought it chaged to the ISS after the fall of the Soviet Union... No wait.. I am thinking of the KGB.... tell me again what Interpol does? Man will not be free until the last lawyer is strangled with the entrails of the last priest. With apologies to Voltaire

No wait.. I am thinking of the KGB.... tell me again what Interpol does? We have laws, freedoms, and the right protected by the United States Constitution against search and seizure. That right was just sold down the river. WE are so worried about closing Gitmo, and protecting the rights of terrorists, yet we are selling out our own constitution, that you supposedly swore to protect. I know I did. No other Government should have any legal means of undermining the United States Consitution. |

Posted over 3 years ago Of course maybe interpol will wind up protecting the American public against terrorism where the Government Barockracy has failed. I wonder what will happen if interpol starts busting down the doors of Islamic Terrorists in the United States....hmmm might beat the Government Barockracy at it's own game.

Posted over 3 years ago I can't find the text of the original E.O. that was amended. I checked the government archives and there's no way to read that particular order... Google reveals nothing but blogs on the subject.... Personally I think it depends on exactly what "Immunities" are afforded to INTERPOL. INTERPOL has 188 member countries - including Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Egypt, Afghanistan, Cuba, Croatia, Uganda, Haiti, and the Vatican. The General Secretariat is located in France. Watch out terrorists!

Posted over 3 years ago i would have to say that this move is a knee jerk reaction and maybe would not have been neccessary had the President been more aggressive with the handling of the Ft Hood massacre. Since one did not spend ones time looking for the enemy the enemy found you first!..... So i would like to say good job but all i can say is lil (very bad word starts with f) late!!!!!

Posted over 3 years ago http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/Obama-gives-Interpol-free-hand-in-U_S_-8697583-80291137.html Obama has granted Interpol the ability to operate within the territorial limits of the United States without being subject to the same constitutional restraints that apply to all domestic law enforcement agencies such as the FBI. Second, Obama has exempted Interpol's domestic facilities -- including its office within the U.S. Department of Justice -- from search and seizure by U.S. authorities and from disclosure of archived documents in response to Freedom of Information Act requests filed by U.S. citizens. Think very carefully about what you just read: Obama has given an international law enforcement organization that is accountable to no other national authority the ability to operate as it pleases within our own borders, and he has freed it from the most basic measure of official transparency and accountability, the FOIA. This is according to the Washington Examiner.....

Posted over 3 years ago he has had to make this choice because he has neutered our own CIA by threatening them. it will not make things go better for us or the war against the terrrorists. More collaboration with nations who have time and time again stabbed us in the back and now the chest is not a smart choice for alliances. It has shown to be quite a deadly mistake.

Posted over 3 years ago kelly; I think that is a sharp observation. Our FBI, Military, and CIA have effectively been rendered impotent. IF a Navy SEAL smacks around a terrorist in the course of capture, he is sent to trial. We have opened Pandora's box. While, at the current time, interpol may be serving our best interest, how long before it becomes an abuse of power, with arms that reach all the way around the world. It's sad that our National Security, will now depend on a foreign entity within our borders, but not subject to anyone, or any law of our land.

Posted over 3 years ago The only reason we are still here talking is due to more than one foiled attack after 9-11 that was to happen on American soil. When a President does not trust his own security and does not stop attempts by Congress to prosecute those who swore to keep us safe from enemies foreign and domestic we have what is going on now. It will continue and these attacks upon us will not be stopped . This administration is too busy working on another issue one that will be entirely unneccessary if the enemy has any say . This administration has decided that the uninsured are more of an issue than national security and the financial stability or solvency of our great country. Sad and pathetic . Unfortunately their mistakes and underestimation of the lengths the enemy will go to kill us will be written into history regardless of how many times they say "it was bush's fault"
