Some people are better off working alone, but in a hospital you have to rely on others to get the patients taken care of. What are your thoughts? How do you contribute to the team to make your work a better place?

"No man is an island"

Not being a good team player doesn't harm much but acting too smart does.

Commitment is needed to make teamwork successful, each member has a role and responsibilities. Each of us relies on others to do their responsibilities. A team is like a chain; one broken/missing  link can break the whole chain. Thus for me a good team player is a person who contributes and commits to the success of the entire team.

Moreover, working  as a team can be an  enjoyable experience, does achieving more when we work together.

I am, actually, a LOT smarter than I act.

awww, honestly?! well then good for you!

I understand that humility or humbleness is a quality of being courteously respectful of others. It is the opposite of aggressiveness, arrogance, boastfulness, and vanity. Are you sure you have the same definition as mine?!

Yeah, i am  sooo deeply concerned and thanks for appreciating it alphamale.

By the tenor of your posts, it seems what you are decribing by  being " Courteously Respectful" is subservience.  I expect you to know nothing about my culture nor my job and what it entails.  There is no place in my job for subservience. When I tell someone to do something.. they do it RIGHT NOW without question or someone can die.

Am I aggresive, arrogant, boastful....  yes.... vain? Not hardly.

Well then, if that is your understanding of  being "courteously respectful of others" , that it puts you to subordinate position, i have no complain about that, that is your own prerogative, your HIGHNESS
