Posted over 5 years ago Hard to tell if it is good or bad. Mine shut off at 75. I was dumbfounded when it shut off. I felt good about it but was afraid I would jinx it if I talked about it.

Posted over 5 years ago Congrats Jenn!!! Is there any advice that you can give to an aspiring RN student? I am in my second semster this spring and I haven't a clue as to where to begin preparing for it. Any advice would be appreciated.

Posted over 5 years ago inspired....start prepping for it now! Not only will it help you in your classes and the NCLEX you'll also be exposed to a lot more content more often and it will help you begin your critical thinking skills...besides by the time you sit to take the NCLEX you'll be an old pro!

Posted over 5 years ago Congrats Kpetro, isn't it a great feeling? I didn't find the test that difficult, I think the tests from nursing school were very similar with respect to how they were written- lots of prioritization and delegation, not much in the way of meds or calculations. I suggest studying Saunders and Thompson Delmar's series of Nclex review books- both were great for content review. Jenn RN

Posted over 5 years ago Thank you for the advice "hellonurse0977." I would have responded sooner but my father passed just recently. I want to continue to pursue nursing, but the anxiety is their in regards to returning to the clinical setting. Wish me luck!!

Posted over 5 years ago I also took the nclex test today and it shut off at 85 (lowest number for an LPN test). I have not gotten the results yet and am on pins and needles
