graduated nursing school 10 years ago.  is there hope that i can still pass the state boards

You will probably need at least a refresher course (the NCLEX is very different from the old 'state board exam') and probably a new endorsement from the school that you attended.  If you could do these 2 things at the same school it would probably help a lot.


And remember the famous speech that Churchill gave: "Never, Never, Never GIVE UP!"

To be honest with you, schools don't give any credits for classes taken over 5 years past.. The neat thing is maybe you just need a refresher class. Contact your BON and see what they advise....Best of luck to you..Keep us posted..Hugs, Teresa
