Posted over 3 years ago And if it did. I would have found another school to attend. Man will not be free until the last lawyer is strangled with the entrails of the last priest. With apologies to Voltaire

Posted about 3 years ago I guess it begs the question of spirituality in regards to religious beliefs or ones own relationship with their "creator". To me there is a significant difference in the two ideologies.

Posted about 3 years ago I have always considered nurses to be "Holistic physicians." We look at the whole patient and their lifestyle, not just a list of signs & symptoms. Spirituality is a part of that. Even if you are an atheist, proper patient care must always consider their belief system - doesn't mean you agree with it or feed into it, just recognize it and be supportive.

Posted about 2 years ago Spirituality is an individual's choice, it should not be forced on anyone, at the patients request to the God he/or she accepts as their path to redemption. Our care is of wholeness, redirecting the patient to self discovery and self healing. We cannot of ourselves heal anyone, we aid them to enlightenment to the power within.
