| Posted over 5 years ago you can start an RN program anytime. I started as a CNA, went to LPN school then worked for 5 years before going back to RN school. I encourage everyone to get an education. Don't let anybody tell you that you can't do something. You can do anything, you just have to find a way. For me, it was easier to go for short periods of time. I didn't think I was smart enough to become an RN. But guess what, I did it! Each time I went back to school, it was like I was laying bricks to an existing foundation. I was learning more and understanding more. Find your way. |

And yes you can start an RN school even after you become an CNA. There are many that I know of who graduated as a CNA and went on to RN school. Dont let anything hold you back! |

| Posted about 5 years ago I get paid 15.00 but I work as part of a weekend program that we have. Most CNAs that start where I work make 10.00. Yes, you can go on to get your RN after your CNA...that is what I am in the process of doing now. |
