I have been a nurse for many years which includes L@D, ICU, medical and surgical floor nursing, rural nursing and currently cath lab and EP experience.  I have a great sense of humor and have often thought of writing a book of humor.  I want it to be called:  Rule Book for patients by nurses.  I thought it would be fun to write something along these lines:

Rule One: This is a call bell, you may use it, but use it wisely.

Rule Two:  Designate one member of your family to be the spokes person and that person can relay information to the other members of your family.

Rule Three: If you need to have a BM, don't say I think I may need to have a BM, just do it when you need to do it.

Let are many more I have thought of .  I would really enough collecting several nurse rules from other nurses...so please send them on.

 Gosh,  sorry, what I meant to say is I would really enjoy receiving nurses rules from other nurses and it would be a joint effort, their stories and me writing them (obviously with their permission).
