I have my BSN/RN from 12 years ago. After passing boards, I moved to LA and didn't go into Nursing. Now I am interested in the field of nursing again but have no interest in clinical practice per se (aka the hospital). I don't want to "put in a year or two on a med surg floor" when I'd rather do something in nursing outside of a hospital.  My interests: elementary education (special education) -although not interested in school nursing because you need years of clinical experience to do that; counseling; art therapy..... Anyone found a great book for RN's that help guide you to a specific field in nursing that suits your interests? Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks!
