Posted over 3 years ago im going to shadow my aunt becky as a nurse in the week or two to see what it's like. anybody have some do's and dont's or good advice for me ? |

| Posted over 3 years ago Make sure you understand the limitations of "shadowing". Typically you are not allowed to lay hands on a patient. |

| Posted over 3 years ago yea i would not think of touching a patient while shadowing. Im pretty much taking it as watching, listening and trying stay out from under the other nurses feet. any other things i should keep in mind while shadowing? |
and wash your hands!
