Ok, my wife is polish and so we spend a lot of time there. I love the polish medicines. Everything from teething gel, throat lozenges to analgesia to everything. They are so cheap, even cheaper than the bulk stuff you can get in american stores, but they are so much more effective than what I normally use.

I know the states won't accept foreign medicines as they believe there is a risk of receiving dubious medication, but it seems narrow-minded. We are based in switzerland and it is very expensive, but when in poland I get everything i need from dentist, to blood checks eg cholesterol etc and it costs me so little. I'm talking about ten-twenty dollars, sometimes for the lot. In fact the last dentist I went to charged me $8.

I guess I'm trying to say that I don't see a valid reason for the monopoly the pharmacutical giants have.
