Posted about 3 years ago Why do hospitals go over-seas to get nurses when there is PLENTY OF US here in the U.S.? There are so many New Grads that can't find jobs; SO why in the world are hospitals recruiting Nurses from other countries??? It REALLY bothers me! Does anyone have an explaination? Is it because we can pay them less?

| Posted about 3 years ago Because they do not have to pay them as much as the American nurse. And they will work alot of overtime. Theonly reason why they hire them is because it benefits the hospital. Alison Heffelfinger LPN SN |

| Posted about 3 years ago I hear they do that alot here in California. Hospitals here pay crappy, with experience. I am a proud mother of three beautyful daughter. I currently live in Los Angeles California. I've worked as a heathecare provider for almost 10 years. I am curently in school to pursue my MSN in nursing, and wants to work as a pediactric nurse, in public health. |
