When dealing with lab values how can you tell which ones really mean that there is a crisis and which ones are supposed to be abnormal b/c of the disease process? does anyone know of any books that explain this?

There are many books that you can look into getting that will explain normal and abnormal and what they mean..

put in "lab values" on amazon.com and you can see a whole list, there are also many websites. Just google "lab values"
