Posted about 3 years ago I know there are certain things nurses can do that will get their license pulled. Would I get my license pulled if I posed for Playboy? |

| Posted about 3 years ago Evidently, like everything in life if it's done in moderation is okay, however, one must consider your chosen profession and the ramifications that could jeopardized this status, for 15 min. of fame. If I were you I would research with the board of nursing in your state the laws regarding this issue. Lastly, I beleive you must prepare yourself in the event that the outcome is not favorable, good luck to you. |

| Posted about 3 years ago if you're serious, here's the answer: As was said, check your Board regs - they are usually found online on the State website. Probably the license would not be affected. Each State is different, but if it's not a criminal conviction, the only thing they might get you for is violation of the "good moral character" provision, which most States have. But I don't think anyone would make an issue of it at the regulatory level. Your bigger problem might be if you have an employer who thinks it to be inappropriate - they could terminate you for any reason they want, unless you are under contract. CaptainEricRN attorney |
