I am not in California, but I have been reviewing jobs across the country. Being a new grad is very difficult these days, but keep positive. Are you looking for a speciality? Are you AD or BSN? That is a big issue these days with Magnet Staus.  I have been in Critical Care for years. It is hard for a new grad unless they are in the preceptor programs that hospitals offer. I talked to a recuiter that said she haS new grads calling her daily. You have to market yourself and put your resume out there for prospective employers. Sell yourself. Be willing to take a position and work hard. Time will pass and you will be offered YOUR DREAM job. Patience is a virtue. Network!  Seasoned Nurse

Im a BSN graduate, Ive been trying to apply at new grads program at KP and john muir but i havent heard any response yet. Its been pretty tough to be hired especially when you are an international graduate and a new grad at the same time. Is recruiment agency a good a idea?? can you refer me to one??
